From having been born so often…

I have salty experience
like creatures of the sea
with a passion for stars
and an earthy destination …

Haitian Love Song

One.
Oceans wept.

Two
Pull me close.

Three.
On summer winds.

Four.
I never wanted to say goodbye.

Five.
The countryside looks bare.

Six.
I’d become smoke.

Seven.
To be a star.

Eight.
Every inch of this body.

Nine.
Your eyes appear.

Ten.
Before my feet left the porch.

Rio de Janeiro – Carioca Blues

the contrast woke me up

when i open my eyes slowly

it takes a moment for both to align

does this mean i am crossed-eyed when my eyes are closed

it only means that your nerves are a little

slow

in reaction time

a life that is too sedentary

could cause that the eye muscles are weak

practice with spacial relationships

of real people and three dimensional objects

will train

your eyes

to automatically

converge when open

the eyes protect themselves when they are closed by moving up and down and to the side

it’s normal

most of us have this

that’s why if you look under someone’s lid while they are asleep you see just the white part of the eye

Jungle Fever in São Paulo

a right side view from the top of banespa gives me

kind of a whooshy feeling when I turn my head

to look at the jungle

i see a yellow giant

a bird is on his mind

there is space for more gemeos

for everybody

who wants

freedom – リベルダーデ - liberdade

and there’s me too

wondering – is there poison in that bottle

wandering

as usual

downtown for lunch

i’m getting tired

in vila madalena

but here’s one for the road: masp & paulista

The Buffaloes used to say: do what you do, roam where you roam, be what you are

Well you’ve gotta have a wash but you can’t clean your name
You’re now called Jimmy you’ll be Jimmy just the same
The keys are in the bag in a chest by the door
One of Jimmy’s friends has taken the floor
Jimmy won’t you please come home
Where the grass is green and the buffaloes roam
Dear old Jimmy you’ve forgotten you’re young
But you can’t ignore the buffalo song

Moriarty – "Jimmy" von naiverecords

And the Buffaloes used to say be proud of your name
The Buffaloes used to say be what you are
The Buffaloes used to say roam where you roam
The Buffaloes used to say do what you do
If you remember you’re unkown
Buffaloland will be your home
